Your wedding day is a special memorable event, with photos that will last a lifetime and be on display. The last thing you want is a poorly fitted gown. This is where we come in to help! Below are a few tips that you may wish to consider when purchasing and/or altering your gown.

• Comfort is very important! It will show if you are uncomfortably treading on the hem of your dress, so if it needs taking up, please do so.

• If you purchase a bargain that is a little too fitted, then don’t despair. We can change the back to lace-up, for the perfect look.

• One thing you don’t want is a gaping bodice. If your bodice gapes, bring it in for fitting, and we can alter it to ensure a smooth silhouette.

• For those who are top-heavy, or may require extra coverage for a church ceremony, speak to us about having a bolero made up, or perhaps attaching elegant cap sleeves.
